However the difference now is the new captchas. Where as intelligent people could once easily make a thread and respond to those few intelligent replies they received, its simply too much effort now. What was previously simply a matter of several clicks on something like a picture of a fire hydrant, the captchas are now a multi step process, a small but just sufficiently annoying task which deters intelligent people most of the time. They already know that most of this board lacks the education and brain processing power to understand anything much more complicated than a peanut butter sandwich
