We all know that climate is going to cause more extreme conditions, while in europe it'd lead to siberian winters and extreme north africa tier summers, especially if the Gulf stream is gone.
Biggest issues in Europe would be most likely the draughts/extreme floods in summer which would cause huge issues regarding crops failures and destroyed homes.
So for my Idea, I'd assume draughts are worse than floods, because they'd affect the Food&Water supply alot more, aswell as threaten to burn down entire forests.
What if we Hypothetically place a shitton of Black painted Metal rods all into the Mediterean sea, with parts of it above the surface and parts of it sub surface with the goal to heat up the mediterean, even more so than it already is by utlizing the heat from the sun.
This way you could probably generate a wall of humidity between europe and africa(with alot of its own Air movements) that might cause more rainfall around all costal regions of the Meditterean, while keeping the Hot air from africa in check and away from europe.
And since the MEditterean is connected to the atlantic it'd just mean the more water evaporates the more atlantic seawater would just enter the mediterean.
