I’m sure mRNA is safe in the long term but I will only take it in 20 years when we are able to say with CERTAINTY that it is safe in the long term.
I smoke pot, but if pot were just discovered today and we had no info on it, I would wait 20 years before smoking it. Exact same reason as with the vaccine
>but we don’t know about the long term effects of covid. We know that covid is not a retro virus. Our understanding of virology gives us no reason to think a non retro virus might have long term existing effects after the body gets rid of it.
mRNA, is mostly not carcinogenic but it could be, we don’t know.
mRNA, most likely won’t cause prion disease but it could and we don’t know
mRNA, most likely won’t cause an auto immune disorder but it could and we don’t know yet.
mRNA most likely won’t cause ADE but it could and we don’t know yet.
Our modern understanding of coronavirus and non retro viruses gives us no reason to be concerned about the above for the virus.
Either present me with a vaccine based on technology that has been used studied developed for as long as the other vaccines, OR, present me with a virus with a legitimate lethality rate.
