What's the consensus about psychology here? It officially does count as science. In my opinion classifying mental issues isn't a meme and valid but almost all psychologists are meme tier and probably not much better at diagnosing someone than 14yo girls diagnosing themselves with issues. It's crazy how every psychologist I went to ignored almost all of my symptoms just because they couldn't accept one could get a gifted iq score while constantly being out of one's mind dissociating. They'd rather just pick 2-3 symptoms which other issues share and then "diagnose" them. It didn't make any sense so they added so many issues to the diagnosis until it looked like it made sense, unless one would question it
