In an infinite universe, it would seem that there would be infinite Earths and therefore infinite conscious beings but we don't know if all possibilities are equally distributed over infinite space. Seems like it would be that way but we don't know for sure it is.
If Earth is unique, you could say there is practically no conscious beings in the universe since the number of conscious beings divided by infinity approaches zero. I'm sure some math person will hit me with some technicality but the essence of it is true.
