baldness is caused by hair follicle sensitivity to DHT which is decided mostly by genetics. there are parts of the world where the men are noted to perform very well in weightlifting as well as balding being extremely common, i.e. russia, iran, armenia, kashmir. then there are parts of the world where balding is rare but testosterone levels are also on average somewhat lower, i.e. east asia.
it's literally just a function of how much of a certain testosterone by-product (of which sometimes people with high test convert very little of it and sometimes people with low test convert a lot of it) it takes for the hair follicles on your head to sperg out and neck themselves. it has fucking nothing to do with being a "nerdy type" or much of anything else for that matter.
