Contrary to this is space exploration, le SCIENCE!!! xd people believe that they will one day walk on other planets and explore, maximizing personal freedom, risk, and responsibility. Personally I think they should just take to hunting and rock climbing. There's plenty of stupidly dangerous underexplored interesting territory in the US alone.
>>13503945US geography is poor for passenger trains. Nobody wants them, there is no reason for it, planes simply do it faster and cheaper. They're good for shipping coal, not people. If it was profitable, you'd see billion dollar companies begging for it instead of setting up new airlines.
