It's [Physics] various discoveries are described by math. Theories is just the continuation of a set pattern of ideas and frequently includes math for that reason. But any real physicist knows that math =/= reality; despite whatever theorists say.
This is why every theory has to be proven proven experimentally beyond doubt. And is also why we progressed past the era of Lord Kelvin.
