People who don't DYOR won't get hypnosis
Th possible corollary is that there is a theory hypnosis is just education. In other words, anons have been hypnotized to not be able to DYOR. The only way such anons as OP learn anything is by rote memory; querying an information sub-space like this board, whilst self-motivating into a suggestive state.
The theory is that when you teach someone 2+2=4 it is not a higher abstract or rational process that makes them produce the number 4 to the question 2+2 on a test; it is their suggestibility to accept the proposition as true, and commit that proposition to memory.

Yes, they do not reason from first principles. Nor will they ever seek to establish a first-hand account of reality (such as getting hypnotised in a chair by a hypnotist to see if it works).
Fucking idiots come asking questions actually come here because their "intellectual training" was a complete sham; they have no knowledge, no information, no logic, no solid basis of understanding the world around them. This is the tragedy of modern mass education in effect.
They cannot even identify their intellectual disabilities in the primary mechanism that was used to place them within their intellectual prison. Here, I am literally breaking a hole in the wall of that prison cell, showing OP the blue sky outside. He thinks it is just another picture sliding across the screen of his mind's eye.
