Currently relearning Prealgebra via Khan Academy after ignoring maths for about 8 years, and I'm feeling like a bit of a brainlet. Does it get any easier?

I'm from the UK, it would have to be my GCSEs, which was back in 2012-2013
IIRC GCSE maths roughly translates to Algebra I/II and Geometry in the US

I graduated HS in 2010, did an SAT recently and scored 710, which allowed me to start at Calc I at uni for this coming spring.
I just went hard over Lang's Basic Mathematics, book of proof, and Stewart Calculus. Yes, I bought Spivak but it wasn't as good.

I was a C student in HS, and did 1 hour of dedicated quiet study every other day for around 3 months. Proof that all it takes is hard work. Work ethic I learned from lifting. No I am not natty.

I got an A in A-levels Mathematics but then took a gap year and forgot everything.
The easiest way to get back into maths is by using a yellow book called Basic Mathematics and watching the corresponding videos
