In other words a Government comprised of economists and scientists who would consider the best options based on the evidence and act accordingly, immediately and without opposition, on a world wide scale. Since nothing like that exists, or is likely to exist within the next hundred years, nothing much will be done, so future generations just have to live with the consequences. People will get displaced, the standard of living will decrease, as will the population. Exactly by how much and over how long is incalculable.
Quite frankly I dont give a fuck anymore. The locusts have proved themselves unworthy of prosperity. Just be grateful they didn't get off the planet first.
