You can talk about the muscles and chemical signals and whatnot that go into the process, but fundamentally, some matter moved because you willed it to move and not through any act of nature.
PK would require at least that, some way for your will to be transmitted, received, interpreted, understood, and carried out by the end object. This is basically radio controlled objects. Transmitting through waves is more or less the way. for objects that can't move on their own and would be require manipulation, it'd have to be some sort of magnetic or sound wave and not just "the power of the mind".
