>>13483502>Also, I'm new to this board and surprised by the amount of antivaxxers here lol.I am so fucking tired of seeing retards like you throwing out the 'antivaxxer' term out there for people who are hesitant on the current available vaccines.
People have a right to be skeptical of the current available mRNA vaccines out in the market. They have never been employed en masse before, prior mRNA trials against coronaviruses have failed, and the sketchy histories of the pharma companies all contribute to the hesitancy.
It took months after mass inoculation before authorities noted possible links to myocarditis, blood clots, and neurological disorders and the current vaccines - whereas vaccines like the flu or hepatitis vaccines, they have far more data behind them to know probable side effects.
Novavax, whose subunit delivery method is the same as HPV and Hepatitis B, is probably the most tried and true method of vaccination that could be employed in the US with far fewer risks of side effects and would likely fare better in vaccinating more people. It's the only vaccine I would consider taking personally.
Now we're seeing the current vaccines are doing jack shit to combat the delta variant - a strain that originated in India before vaccines were available anywhere. Despite these vaccines doing jack shit to prevent transmission, places mandate you take them to 'stop the spread'. Do you realize how little sense that makes?
You can get vaccinated with the current available options, or catch covid, or take the safest method and do neither by continuing to distance yourself from others. I get my flu shots every year and am up to date on all others except for these garbage covid vaccines. If you think I'm an antivaxxer for rejecting objectively shitty vaccines, go fuck yourself.
