They're only getting into it.
I know they've opened their FAST telescope to the world recently (about two years ago) which is now a semi replacement for the Arecibo Telescope that was destroyed.

Yes, instead of looking at planets like fucking retards, they are going to build bases in all the solar system to study the planets and moons themselves.
