>>13478652>>13478572Did a pop sci shill send you here or are you just too absorbed in your own research?
I'll break it down very easy for you to swallow: we will never solve biology, or even be able to engineer and improve an organism before me and you and everyone on this thread is dead.
The human body is notoriously hard to predict without at least engaging in some form of empirical study and analysis to guide the research. And with the case of genetic engineering it would be incredibly unethical (and probably illegal in most countries) to engage in the kind of analysis required to drive that research in humans. Why do you think a normal vaccine takes years to engineer and then even more years to properly test?
Furthermore I fail to see the utility of genetic engineering. Aside from oncological treatments and maybe even correcting chromosomal NDJ events, re-engineering someone's genome seems pragmatically pointless. Most pop sci shills and austists seem only to care about using it to enhance human traits (disease immunity, aesthetics and IQ), which taken on its own is a foolhardy endeavor that would probably pose more challenges than it solves.
