It’s complicated who should be awarded a noble price. Usually you have a bunch of lab techs and underlings helping. If a lab tech presses a buttons and the machine records a signal and the lab tech shows it to a scientist and he finds out it is some new discovery does the lab tech get an award? Probably not.
