Can anyone give me some insight
Is it the relative "distance" between the cold and hot temperatures that instigates autophagy, or is it a set temperature from some body normalized temp?
If I were to take a "room temperature" shower right now, at rest, it would feel like nothing. But if I go run my brains out in the summer heat and come back, it'll be pretty damn cold.
So does this instigate autophagy the same way it would if I were to take a "cold shower" from a rest temperature?
Is the cold/hot autophagy instigation just relative?
t. a guy who doesn't want to pay for bullshit like "cryotherapy" and saunas
