plants are usually where people get medicines that actually work
creating a human-plant hybrid/chimera would lead to the possibility of a plant, the chemical genius of nature, that can fight off human diseases more accurately speaking (imagine a being specialized in chemical warfare against various microbes, and it has human diseases to fend off)

plant pollen/ovules dont even have the necessary izumo/juno-receptors to form a fusioned ovule.
then, the genomes, spindles and basically all the cell structures arent compatible.
This cannot ever work. And even if it did, the physiology of plants and animals are entirely different.
I dont know why you wouldNXYKX even think of this

supposing you created some viable living thing that was part human and part plant...

it would probably just be an organism susceptible to both human and plant diseases.

So fungus and viruses that cant infect a human could mutate inside this creature and potentially spread...aka it will lead to more diseases jumping between species.

Humans with chloroplasts instead of melanin could be cool tho, we could photosynthesis sunlight.

We have put human genes into bacteria to produce insulin.
Maybe we could put those same genes into a plant.

And yea, genetic engineering is an entire different field of study compared to jizzing on a plant, but it is thought provoking.
