Step 1: achieve immorality
Step 2: achieve every degree and/or piece of knowledge I need for my plan, an amount that would not be possible to learn in one lifespan
Step 3: develop a way to transfer my conscience to a superior, artificial form
Step 4: develop a space ship for interstellar travel (doesn’t have to have FTL travel I can just wait now that I’m a robot)
Step 5: develop an immense collection of cryo pods for the main hall of the ship
Step 6: select the definitive human specimen of our race to be the first addition to my cryo collection (I’ll let you guys decide who the definitive member of the human race should be)
Step 7: leave earth. Travel through space and encounter alien civilization . Abduct one member of each race I find to add to my sentient collection
Maybe I’ll catalog all their dna/generic information into some sort of alien catalogue idk
