>>13462760Emotional Association with certain things.
Best examples are Traumas, Where the individual gets an emotional flashback of the trauma when he experiences a certain smell, feeling, noise, or sees something that triggers that experience.
We often "save" alot of knowledge&experiences with Emotional anchors. Ofc its not only trauma that leads to anchors. An old videogame that you played a shitload as a child and then never touched again and 20 years later, you hear the soundtrack of it and you remember it immediately and feel a bit like back then when you played it. its an emotional anchor.
Sounds, visuals, feelings, certain words, rythms, everything you can perceive can be an anchor for something. Thats how ads works. Ads work best on the long term if you target them at children so they automatically feel more comfy around a certain trademark when they get older and tend to buy it (be it a certain brand of beer etcetc)
