>>13457413You basically answered yourself, except for the part where you call them stupid, there are many ways to do math and some are simply more popular in some countries, and even if they are stupid, or don't have "reading comprehension" like you said, science is about learning, society is about learning, you don't need to know everything like in the past, you only need to learn what you like or what makes you money, and then leave the rest to others, and if you like learning you will not sit on a website full of people who remotely know something only to be thrown shit when you ask something you don't understand, every single thing you can call science or studies is at the base of accessibility and diffusion of knowledge.
