What's the utility of keeping Pi? Afaik, the earliest use of it with its current meaning was in 1706. It doesn't maintain any ancient continuity, and Euler used ? on an ad hoc basis to mean all kinds of numbers. (Possibly with the meaning of "perimeter".)

What's the advantage in degrees?
As to infinity, mathematical notions have a certain amount of juice. I recon Western math is dying and the current math-wave is Russian (infinite plane that loops back on itself, rather than Western infinite space) and to a lesser extent Japanese and whatever other high cultures might be bubbling. So infinity might kick for a while. But I'd expect it to be outflanked, as we might already be seeing with topology.
There's probably directions and ideas available that aren't currently being utilised, in the same way that Greek math couldn't cope seethe and dilate with many concepts that exist in current Western math.

Ternary is superior to binary in terms of radix economy, and in terms of human practicality, senary and duodecimal are superior to decimal. There's also esoteric bases quarter-imaginary which can express any Gaussian rational

Nothing, 360 is just a superabundant number and people seem to like "90 degrees" better that "a quarter turn"

if you want to know the length of an arc its r*(angle in radians). expressing angle in terms of radians is the most natural.

what is your counter argument? you are tied to a rope 10 meters long thats staked into the ground. the rope is tight. you walk until you've reached the opposite side. you ask yourself "how far have i travelled?" using radians I know almost immediately. radius=10m, angle =pi~3, so 30 meters. if you are accustomed to turns or degrees you'll have to do a unit conversion to get the correct distance. tell me a scenario where turns would have more utility?
