I touch type, but I also have a very light-weight, trivial auto-typer/-clicker called TyperTask that I downloaded and write little macros with; I am now the second fastest drafter in the office after being there for 3.5 months, and finish about 95% of his output. My output is going to continue to grow substantially with experience.
I will also be programming the automation service (DriveWorks) that generates our drawings from template models that reduce the workload for everyone in our department. I'm still going to be paid less than this guy if I stick around, but I can't seem to find and lock down other employment opportunities. That's due in large part to automated application filtration used by HR departments. It's a cursed double-edged sword.
