I honestly don't belong on this board, but I'll just leave a small note instead of going into detail because my opinion likely doesn't belong here.
You probably need to fast.
There are likely biological reasons for this, I think, that involve the rhythm of our bodies, and the fact that some part of us doesn't always expect to eat everyday. That's part of my guess, but the other part is that I think it's a "spiritual" issue to. And that's a mind/body sort of problem.
I have thought about dying for a long time- apparently the most common way for mammals to die, by a large margin, (or one of at least) is to stop eating until death. They go off alone into the woods and die.
So, that's how I would do it. Here in california there's nothign scary out there- so that's what I'd do.
So, I practice.
When I want to die, I just stop eating. I stop eating until a reason to eat and keep going comes up.
Something usually does. There are a handful of things I want to do before I go, and by the 3rd day of no food and minimal water, I usually feel ready to do a little more towards those handful of goals I still have.
Again- I don't belong on this board. I think the body/mind/"soul" are probably all so entertwined that it doesn't matter- I would expect the ape-like physiology of us just...doesn't understand eating 3 times a day all the time, anyway. Not at a core level.
But it doesn't matter- don't take my word for it.
Try fasting. I'm not advocating doing it until death,
but I would recommend trying probably two straight days. It might be that a portion of the desire to die is actually a sensory response that our cultures (modern) just don't understand. I would put a few hundred betting dollars down that it will likely help you with at least 50% of that sensation.
Mind or spirit, whatever you want to call it.
Consciousness. Just a thought. Good luck sir.
