So we've had metallic foam for a long time, and its properties are more or less well understood. But, metallic wood is a relatively new discovery, taking the concept of cellular metal to the next logical step. Does anyone have proper resources or really anything regarding its properties, uses, etc? When stuff gets this small, expectations go out the window. I'd love to see about using it structurally, but the increased surface area makes it look like a nightmare for corrosion and general stickiness.
