I read that the reason we count in 10s is because we have 10 fingers. But if we had 8 fingers, wouldn't that be our "ten"?
Like, we would go 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, 10?
And we would say "One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Ten".

So in actual fact all that would happren if we had 8 fingers is that we would lose the digits 8 and 8 and the names Eight and Nine?
