>>13442158because we dont have a working model of or definition for intelligence, or general intelligence. we have an idea - its kind of like how a human thinks, or at least the prefrontal thought patterns. except for these are deeply tied to non prefontal (subconscious) thought patterns, as well as sensory organs, chemical cycles that depend on the intensity and spectrum of light in the environment, the types of molecules in the stomach, and 100000 other factors as well.
a body/brain has complex interactions happening at every length scale from planck to meter, and these all in some way affect the computation performed in the body/brain.
its a system with many orders of magnitude more systems of organization and intricacy than a computer.
and as living systems get more complex, constituent parts almost never have an awareness that they are part of a supersystem larger than themselve. ants in a colony, humans in a society, etc.
superorganism intelligence could be a better way to think about agi - pipes, valves, humans, cows, dogs, cell phones, copper in electrical wires - all working in concert for the sake of that systems survival
but some code written by a person on a very uncomplicated machine.. nah .. not going to approach human level capability. because that calculation has been running for a few billion years already.
