>>13438397>>134382471. The letter was written to the administrator of NASA to try and influence his decision on the HLS initiative
2. In every single instance reporters from all outlets have asked him questions regarding HLS he has always deferred to "the GAO is reviewing this, we'll wait until they sort it out."
3. BlueOrigin is attempting to play politick on an award they lost.
4. The GAO has not yet submitted their decision on whether the HLS award was conducted unfairly or done by the book.
5. Trying to preempt an Accountability Office by making borderline unethical statements to try and paint a previous decision made as unjust or trying to smear another competitor shows that you don't have any intention of supporting the actual initiative, you just want the fucking money.
What BO is doing isn't illegal, but its borderline. Its extremely unethical and its trying to bypass multiple accountability regulations to be PRE-SELECTED for a future competition without having to submit a second bid. That's anti-competitive and monopolistic. Which IS illegal, but only as far as being illegal figuratively, because actual exchanges have not been conducted and this "letter" is a one way road.
Nelson knows not to respond and won't respond. He'll wait for GAO to make their decision, and then conduct himself in accordance to that verdict.
BlueOrigin is a shady fucking aerospace company. This letter just futhers the proof that they cannot be trusted to do what is right for the American tax-payer and will only do what is right for their bottom line.
