1. Ban social media, focus on reconstructing local communities and societal trust
2. Make as much of jobs work-from-home as possible, slashing transportation related carbon emissions
3. Mass construction of nuclear/solar/wind/hydro plants
4. Preserve ecologically critical areas, and focus on restoring damaged ecosystems (reforestation, reintroducing species, etc.)
5. Geoengineering to reverse climate change, including boosting global albedo and capturing carbon from the air, with the aim of restoring pre-industrial CO2 levels
6. Global birth control, particularly in areas like Africa where birthrate is insane (can be boosted to replacement rate eventually, but needs to be kept low for a while)
7. Careful exploration of AI technologies to ensure AI is used to help people, and not lead to mass job loss and unrest and discrimination
8. Emerging tech like gene editing needs to be managed so that it is available for all, preventing the creation of a "genetic elite"
