Anons, I have a degree in Info Sec but I can't find a job anywhere.

My skill set is currently weak, I only know:
Java
SQL
C++
Python
Wireshark
NMap

All the people around me keep talking about how my degree & skill is so "in-demand" but I can't find any fucking jobs that will hire me.

How do I go about learning more or building out a portfolio?

Any Info Sec anons care to give me some advice, I'm fucking dying out here.
