I'm not saying that most of us here unbelievers can't write an atheist book since we have different experiences but it seems like atheism is like for junkies.

Belief in God evolved and is a fundamental part of being a healthy human being. Atheism is the result of a disintegrating urbanized civilisation and/or autism. It's as fundamental as the law of identity or whatever.

putting aside arguments about the supernatural nature of "god", the people who believe in him acknowledge that there are things that they will never know or understand and the people who don't believe are asserting that omniscience is realizable for themselves, which it clearly isn't, because quantum mechanics and relativity both rule that possibility out. that is why the people who believe in god are correct in this argument, they have a better grasp of science than the atheists and agnostics do.
