Why are so many companies hiring midwits that are likable, while smart anti-social people can't find jobs? It's because a single social reject can bring down an entire team of workers, despite a unique talent they might have. Office politics are complicated, and autists typically lack the skills to maneuver this nuanced environment. Even just being quiet and minding their own business can put people on edge, because then normies worry you are "plotting against them" or holding a grudge. I've know a lot of autists in my life and they typically are very good at certain things. I respect their logical straight-forward nature, but unfortunately normies overwhelmingly do not. Sometimes an autist's abilities are so great that it can compensate for their lack of common sense and nuance, but it is rare. So although an autist can find success in this life, it's probably more of a disability in my opinion.

call me autistic but this is the most difficult thing in the world. I think I have a better shot at solving the riemann hypothesis than this

It is probably in higher IQ females as they understand that the "tech" guys now make all the money (actual pros and not the smelly nerds though) and resources are one of the most important aspects for a stable relationship and children.
However, you can't also just rewire hundreds of years of selection out of someone's brain, so if their higher-level recursive reasoning and long-term thinking isn't that strong, then they're just going to go for something that attracts them on a biologocal level, which isn't a 150IQ galaxy brain thoonker.

A lot of spergs just don't think about communicating and just socializing in general in the right frame of mind. I say this as an autist myself. Sometimes I go cold and am unmotivated to placate people or play the game and so I come off as a douche. I imagine this is how a lot of autists come off all the time. I would hate them too.
