Don't be afraid of changing your job.
And do not compromise on ethics.
I have lived by this and lost my job a few times, and the funny thing is, as you progress you get better jobs, new experiences and enjoy the progression. Just don't go all out autistic on ethics. Live by it but don't lecture about it, that is where RMS loses friends.
If it works in the working culture where you are (things differ here) ask for a meeting with your boss, put the situation plainly before him. Discuss the matter and suggest attacking new problems and be open for leaving. Most companies (in my experience) need new forms for optimisation. Your boss do not want to lose people and has a lot to gain by increasing scope and success stories. Unless he is a psychopath he should work with you on this.
And if you have to leave, do not fear it. Just make sure you leave on good terms and that people remember you as the guy who delivered results. Reputation matters, this is a small world.
