>>13426980>What's the advantage?According to him, it's not really an advantage, but more so that none of the current stuff actually logically makes sense. His stance is that infinite sets don't make sense to talk about, so from his point of view, he's not really developing an alternate framework but more so making things more logically rigorous.
>gauge whether I should look into it.Watch his famous math problem series on real numbers (I think it is #19). You can see whether you are interested an can learn more. He has like 250 videos of stuff where he lays out fundamental topics, some is just standard stuff but others might be slightly different coming from his perspective. Also, his rational trigonometry series is pretty good as well (it's interesting to see the same material laid out in a different way).
>Learning new methods and things are fine if there's a payoff. You know you can learn things just for learning's sake right? Anyways, the answer will depend on what you want out of watching his videos. I personally just think he has an interesting take on existing material and he's a pretty good lecturer as well.
I played his videos at 2x speed (he speaks pretty slowly which is useful if you're new to the material but was too slow for me) whenever I had some down time. It was nice to see the same material in a different way and also go through some classic proofs as well.
