I need help with finding a topic to write about

The prompt I was given was to write about a time that I made a decision based on data.

I was thinking about writing about why I chose not to be a doctor, or about the crypto boom / bust cycle, or about my motivation for even applying to grad school.

Problem is, I think all of these topics are stupid. Was hoping for a third party to confirm my feelings or give me affirmations.
