Is it theoretically possible to one day, when we have brainwave interface VR...like matrix level shit, so alter our perception of time so that we may experience hundreds of years of time in vr while only having a short time pass in real life?

Probably not on default human brains. You'd have to change a ton of shit internally to even get it working, and on top of that you have to deal with other parts of the body (like the heart) thinking they're experiencing 10000x time. Of course if you simulate the brain entirely in silico, then really the only limitations are how much of the computation you can parallelize and how many computations it takes to fool the system into thinking it has experienced a given length of time. There's also an upper bound on clock speed, theoretically limited by the time it takes information to get from one side of the system to the other.

Some strange system of taking the input of your brain, routing it through a system that is capable of incredibly fast calculations and simulations, and then feeding the input from THAT into your actual brain via optical nerves or whatever.
