Femanon here. Professor gave me a B- and told me I wasn't cut out to do math. I know you dudes don't believe women experience sexism in your field, but it's honestly true. You guys can get a B-, and not have to worry about a professor telling you to your face that you aren't cut out for the field. I asked him if he says it to all the girls, and he kicked me out of his office. I know I'm inviting abuse with this comment but fuck you guys. You need to hear this. I'm hoping at least one of you has some empathy and will learn from this, and be kinder to your female colleagues. That's all. Thanks.

Grading scale changes based on the professor at hand, but it usually goes like this
>A: >= 90%
>B: 89.9% - 80%
>C: 79.9% - 70% (Typically this is the lowest acceptable grade to pass the course)
>D: 69% - 60%
>F: <= 59.9%

Don't ask me why D exists if both D and F are failing letter grades and won't earn you credit for the course.

That said this is more likely when they are an indian from india, I find that it's less likely if they grew up in an actual first world country. Same goes for indian men. I had a class where the average was too high going into the exam. The average was around a B- going into the exam. The professor decided the final exam should have negative marking.

The course average dropped down to a C with about 15% of the class failing the course.

I had a professor for a mathematics class (complex analysis, the applied kind mostly taken by physics students) and some people did ask some stupid questions, but he reacted in quite an unreasonable manner. He would insult everyone and call them stupid. He was adamant that he should be teaching only the brightest students and anything else was beneath him. He constantly said he should be teaching at an ivy league school. He's finally made his way to Brown so hopefully he's enjoying himself now.
