Same with "delusions of grandeur".I can see how “delusions of grandeur” can be positive in the sense of having a vision of the future. The Achilles heel of this is one over estimating their competence, worth, etc. This is pathological at some or all stages.
Narcissism definitely exists. There is no centralized “psyop” to undermine intellectual freedom, however our culture does influence this. Short stimulating videos, video games, groupthink, porn, psychoactive substances (alcohol, benadryl, melatonin , marijuana, nicotine) all undermine our intellectual independence.
