>>13411165Pretty much this. 4chan is full of people who are the unironic epitome of the Dunning-Kruger effect curve. They act like they're hot shit because it's so easy to tear off the mask and act like they know everything when there are no consequences on here for making mistakes that would make a complete ass out of you IRL. Most people here, myself included ARE the midwits 4chan hates on. They act like they know everything from a few simple google searches and act like they and only few others know the "truth" of everything. The global state of affairs, a certain science, a particular career or craft, you name it. Nobody here wants to admit they know nothing and that even for the more intelligent (yes, even 130+ IQers) it takes time to understand anything deeply. People need to feel like some savant in a very complex reality.
