Can a rocket spaceship land horizontaly without wings?

Could a spaceship with a movable engine like a Harrier or a F-35 land horizontally without crashing?
Also the space ship has small engines in the rest of his body to help with the maneuver.
Will the small engines be neccesary?
Could it be done?

Also, we have infinite fuel. But the landing is as fast as a reusable rocket.

Hypothetically, yes, though not without horizontal movement.
Assuming just falling over from a vertical position is a bad idea, the aim would be to counter the rotation about the centre of mass due to the weight of the spaceship above the com while maintaining the altitude of said com. The thrusters would be pointed in the opposite direction to the one in the picture with this in mind.

The result would be similar to a jet landing after pointing up vertically, with a lot of horizontal speed when landing. It wouldn't be possible to stop rotation without horizontal motion unless there were another engine in a different position.

Pic related is a shitty example of what I mean - the vertical component of the thrust has to be large enough to balance the weight of the craft, while the horizontal component has to be large enough to balance the rotation due to this thrust.

So, if I had an engine capable of giving such power and infinite fuel, could a fully loaded aircraft carrier with the shape of a rocket land like this?
Or the known materials in the universe wouldn't be strong enough to maintain the shape and integrity of the spaceship?

As the rocket approaches a horizontal position the moment due to the horizontal force become smaller, and so the power output of the engine has to increase to compensate. As such even for a regular size rocket it would be difficult to accomplish. For something the size of an aircraft carrier current materials are several orders of magnitude away from being able to handle that amount of force.
