>>13409492I remember as a teen seeing something that I've always thought was a ball lightning. It was a rainy morning, and my brother and I were driving somewhere. I saw a small clearing in the trees to my left that looks like it was scorched by fire, and even still had small flames in places. The was a small light, moving quickly with jerky motion, with arcs of electricity striking the foliage around it.
We were both shocked, not knowing what the hell we were looking at. I came back later to see if it was just a swinging, downed power cable, but there was nothing like that close.
