I used to wonder why humans can not naturally smell water, like many other animals, and maybe we lost that because of evolving with dogs but I can also see us not needing it.
>Is that common in nature? Two species evolving together and affecting each other's evolution?Very common.
>>13408721Yes I disagree. Bees are now believed to be as smart as dogs individually and they have much worse visual acquity than a human and not just bees, many other animals once thought stupid, insects but also fungus and other forms of stranger life which we thought had no conventional intelligence have now with more recent (last 5y) studies been shown to be quite intelligent. And that's before we talk about things like swarm intelligence where a swarm of bees can collectively raise their intelligence above that of any individual bee.
