Hey science bros. Not sure if this is a fitting subject or not, but since there's not a health or medicine board I figured here might be the best place to ask.

Does anyone know anything about the long term effects of Dextromethorphan (DXM) abuse? I ask because I''ve been on and off abusing the stuff for over a decade now, and other than being surprised I'm not dead or catatonic at this point, I was wondering if any science or health bros had any ideas as to it's long term effects.

I can go into more detail if asked, but like I said, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask. I'm going to see a doctor about it soon-ish I just wanted to get an idea here first before I go.
