It makes no sense why we would evolve something that would give us such a large disadvantage; do you see any aquatic animals that swim around with long thin limbs?
Also almost every single semi-aquatic mammal has long thick hair all over its body, so why would humans be the only species to evolve in the opposite direction? Not to mention that human skin begins to break down when in prolonged contact with water after only a few days
