>>13398769Well I know it's prescribed a lot these days and like other atypical antipsychotics it can cause you to gain weight, make you drowsy, affect your personality etc. but it can help stabilise your mood and 5mg looks like the normal starting dose so I don't think you should be too worried about seeing how it goes. Works very well for some people, doesn't work at all for others. It's one of those ones but if you've not tried it before and it's been prescribed to you I'd say it's fairly safe to give it a try and see how you find it.
