Is their any real world difference Between a circle and a megagon?
Like, if you were to make a wheel based on a megagon, would it function exactly the same as a regular wheel?

Would it need a tread though?
A gigagon especially would have so many sides you’d need a high powered microscope to see them. It’s probably way smoother then a pool ball, which seems to roll.

The perfect circle is a purely a metaphysical artefact, they do not exist in nature. In physical reality, all we can do is make increasingly sided megagons.

I wonder, if a perfect circle doesn’t exist,
Would the Formulas used for their radius and diameter be inherently flawed.
Let’s assume Gigagons exist but circles don’t. Should we use a formula for that instead?

But to the point of planck and euclidian geometrie, we can see that the concept of shape becomes fuzzy at this limit

The point being, >>13396402 is the edge in terms of attempting to prove the existence of a perfect circle, but one with a electron microscope could easily note its edges

a microsope is all that is needed to prove a circle is in fact a many sided polygon, one could search the entire of the solar system and not observe a circle. The question than revolves back to theory, a metaphysical postulate, could we build a perfect circle? we get as close as the limit in the theorems of calculus

Perfect circles cannot exist in the physical world, but the formulas we apply (eg p=2pir) assume that the circle is perfect. I think anon is asking if it would instead be more accurate to assume the inaccuracy, and use the formulas for a mega / giga gon
