I didn't really have the time, but I would've swapped out some books for other alternatives, but for the sake of it, I just used what was given to me by OP.
If your understanding of math is more or less at high school level, starting with Lang's Basic Mathematics is the way to go, really. You don't need those 5 alternative books if Lang already summarises it more or less very rigorously.
Other than that, if you're beginning, going through Khan Academy is also a great idea. Some other recommendations are also Openstax. Good luck.
