The NSA has your interest in heart tho.
If you're interested in how the NSA works or want a job as an aspiring mathematician I recommend you join them! It's what I do now that I've graduated (its no cakewalk tho, even just to get in requires some WORK even though they hire so many mathematicians and scientists)

Most of the observation and flagging of individuals is done by AI. If you get highlighted you may earn your own observation team. This is not always a bad thing but usually it is.

Secret intelligence agencies know more about you than you can imagine however they falsify even their own documents from within the agencies and a lot of the data they have they do not necessarily trust. Usually information must be verified by multiple different sources. It gets more complicated when different agencies interract.

I always enjoyed those Orwell games on steam. I’d be happy to have a job where I have a device that gives me unlimited access to a computer/ type their name into old newspaper sites and I just dig around to pick and flag stuff to some random higher up who then decides to either send a kill squad or not as I move to the next person
