My uni is requiring the vaccine for this coming semester and have made it clear that there will be no exemptions from it. It seems I’m at the end of the line, but I might've found a way to have my cake and eat it, too.
The J&J vaxx is a viral vector vaccine. It injects you with a harmless adenovirus (similar to the common cold) with the code for COVID spike proteins, which are then produced and naturally killed by your immune system.
So, hypothetically, if one were to dope themselves up on substances that naturally boost the immune system, would it be possible to kill the carrier adenovirus before it has the chance to produce the spike protein—thus leaving you basically unvaccinated?
I'm quite uninformed on the matter; This is all just basic connect the dots logic, but I’d really like to know if there’s precedence for this. This can be a game changer. To have all the privileges of a vaccinated citizen without actually being vaccinated.
