Like their entire state of being, all their arguments, their way of life, into the trash.
It filters a fuckton of people and they can't handle the seethe. He is an asshole, and he's not perfect; tons of times his mouth gets him into trouble, but when it comes to matters of science and engineering, he's pretty much right 9.8/10 times. Which, incidentally, makes him arrogant as fuck, because being right so much almost all the times basically gives you a confidence level that 99% of the human race can't match. Which for many, also doubles into envy. Massive amounts of jealousy.

If what he said mattered, half the governing bodies wouldn't be passing laws to break down taxation, and passing laws left and right to transfer wealth from the majority to the minority with an intent to consolidate power and stranglehold how money is produced and used. The complete breakdown of burgerland government wouldn't be happening. Plus, no amount of surplus resources on the Earth is going to fix the corruption problem; that's a justice issue not a wealth distribution issue.
